Ever Mountain College is an independent, liberal arts college dedicated to the arts, lateral thinking, non-obvious inquiry, disciplined experimentation, and the belief that meaningful creativity begins with curiosity.
Located deep in the mountains, EMC offers a small, immersive learning environment where students are encouraged to explore ideas across disciplines, question assumptions, and develop their own creative and intellectual voice. Our approach values process over polish, risk over certainty, and depth over speed.
At Ever Mountain, learning happens everywhere—inside studios and classrooms, across wooded paths and open spaces, and often in conversation rather than lecture. Students work closely with faculty who are practicing artists, thinkers, and makers, and who view teaching as a shared act of discovery.
We do not offer traditional majors. Instead, students pursue an individualized course of study grounded in the arts and supported by rigorous critical thinking, reflection, and critique. The result is an education shaped as much by who you are becoming as by what you are learning.
