Ever Mountain College is not a real school…mostly.
But the application is real…for the most part.
This is a creative admissions experience.
You’re not being graded.
You’re being considered.
WHAT YOU’RE APPLYING FOR
Ever Mountain College selects only a small number of applicants and does so for their artistic and creative vitality — for the gusto with which they pursue half-finished obsessions, the marvelously meandering quality of their minds, and their stubborn refusal to make work that plays it safe — then hands them a credential that means exactly as much as they believe it does.
A small number of applicants will be accepted each cycle. Accepted students receive a formal (and entirely useless) Certificate of Admission and Creative Distinction, signed by the Dean of Faculty and the Chancellor.
Some are admitted. A few are distinguished. The mountain, the faculty and random others decide.
What You Get
If accepted, you’ll receive:
A Certificate of Admission and Creative Distinction (formal, signed, and entirely useless)
Recognition from the faculty, cheers from fellow “admitted” and possible jeers from the townies.
Membership in the Ever Mountain College community — including a subscription to Dispatches from Ever Mountain and full participation rights in the life of the College
